Activity Schedule

Kids Club

Kids club is meeting on Wednesdays and Fridays 2:30 to 4:00.  All kids ages 5 and up welcome for fun and snacks.   This is a free program thanks to Elizabeth Moore a senior from the Gering High School for donating her time and knowledge.

Freedom Dance

Carrie Cawley is teaching ballet, jazz, hip hop, and tap on Thursday evenings 5:30 to 6:30.  All dancers welcome no matter their level of experience.  Cost is only $20 for a six week session.  Carrie has 20 years of experience in teaching dance.  Don't forget to bring a friend.

Carrie is now offering two new dance classes. 

Tornado Dance is for adults and will run in eight week sessions starting on June 10th.  Classes will be every Thursday from 6:30PM to 7:30PM.  Cost is $25 per person per session

Hip Hop classes for ages 13 to 18 will start on Monday June 7th at 5:30PM.  This class will also run in eight week sessions.  Cost is $25 per person per session.

Basketball

The Jesse Guzman Classic Tournament turned out great.  We had ten teams in all.  Thank you to everyone that helped out.  We had a great group playing ball and the best volunteers in the valley helping.  Hope we can do it all again next year.  Check out the pictures in our photo gallery.

Boys and girls Basketball Camps

Men's Noon Basketball

Monday through Friday starting at 11:00AM.  Pick-up games are informal and played for fun and exercise.  Everyone is welcome.  Members are free. All others must purchase $5.00 day pass.

James Mendoza Coed Softball Tournament 

Tournament will be help August 13th, 14th, and 15th.  10 person teams (5 men, 5 women) Players must be 14 years or older.  Cost per team $150.00.  Call or stop by the center with questions or to register.  All proceeds to benefit the Mendoza family and youth program at the Carpenter Center.  Don't forget to get your registrations turned in by Friday August 6th!

Co-Ed Church Softball League

It's hard to believe but the season is over already.  Thank you to all the teams that played.  We had a lot of fun and hope everyone else did too.  See you all next year.

Carpenter Center Football League (C.C.F.L.)

After August 2nd registration will be $80.  Ask about our multiple player family discounts.  First games will be August 28th.  We will have games Labor Day weekend too.
