Dear Coaches and Parents,

We would like to welcome you to this year’s Carpenter Center Football League (CCFL).  During the past few years we have had trouble with coaches, parents, and spectators getting out of control.  We would like to remind everyone this is a learning league.  We here at the Carpenter Center want to promote SPORTSMANSHIP as we hope you do as well. Any coach, parent, or spectator getting out of control will be asked to leave for the remainder of the day and be suspended for the next game. If the problem continues they will be suspended for the remainder of the season. Coaches are responsible for the entire team’s behavior, including the parents, and will be reprimanded if poor behavior occurs.  Remember our athletes are still learning the game and skills necessary to participate properly and safely. The only person being embarrassed is your child on the field. We ask you to help them learn to become better citizens of society and learn the fundamentals of life skills.

Coaches and referees are volunteers and put a lot of time and effort into the program. So please respect them for their effort and decisions. Remember they are learning as well. If coaches, parents, and spectators get out of control the game will be called and there will be no make-up game.

Thank you for participating in the Carpenter Center Football League.  Let’s have a fun and exciting season.

Games will start Saturday September 7th!

Carpenter Center Football League is for children who will be 3rd thru 6th grader in the the fall of the school year. Teams from around the panhandle participate each year and are divided up according to the town they attend school. Scotttsbluff and Gering kids are put into a pool and are drafted by the area coaches. CCFL is always looking for referees and coaches to make the league successful each and every year. Our League volunteers make the season successful. For more information please contact the Carpenter Center.
